Best Baraat Cars in Karachi: Groom Car Guide

By RentOnUs Team · 15 October 2026

The one car that ends up in every photograph

You will look at pictures of your baraat car for the rest of your life. Everything else from the day gets edited down, but the arrival shot survives, and the car is in the middle of it.

That is the whole argument for spending a little time on this decision rather than taking whatever is available in the second week of December.

The realistic shortlist

Five cars account for most baraats we run in Karachi.

Mercedes C180, PKR 25,000

The default, and the default for good reason. It photographs well from the front three quarter angle every photographer uses, the proportions read as formal rather than sporty, and the rear cabin is actually comfortable for a groom in a full sherwani.

If you do not want to think about this decision, book the C180 and move on to the catering.

Audi A6, PKR 30,000

PKR 5,000 more for a car that does not look like every other baraat car in the city. Lower and more modern than the Mercedes, with a cabin that feels more like technology than tradition.

Pick the A6 if the wedding has a contemporary look and the Mercedes feels too expected.

Toyota Land Cruiser V8, PKR 22,000

The right answer more often than people expect. Seven seats, high enough that a groom in a turban is not ducking, and genuinely better on the road out to the farmhouse belt past the Northern Bypass.

The Land Cruiser also solves a problem the sedans do not: it carries the groom and his immediate family in one vehicle, so the procession needs one car fewer.

Toyota LC 300, PKR 25,000

The LC 300 is the newer shape and the same money as the Mercedes. If you want the SUV presence with a current look rather than the familiar V8 silhouette, this is it.

Honda Civic X, PKR 15,000

The value pick, and the one worth knowing about. The Civic X is PKR 10,000 under the Mercedes and still reads unmistakably as a groom car rather than a family sedan with flowers taped to it.

If the budget is going on the venue rather than the cars, this is where to land.

Sedan or SUV, decided properly

This is the real decision, and it comes down to three questions rather than taste.

Where is the venue? City hall or hotel, take the sedan. Farmhouse out past the Northern Bypass or Gadap, take the SUV. The approach roads out there are the reason, and arriving with the car dusty undoes the polish.

Is the groom travelling alone? Alone or with one person, a sedan is fine and looks better. With parents and siblings, the Land Cruiser carries everyone and removes a car from the procession.

What is he wearing? A heavy sherwani with a turban is awkward in a low car. Watch anyone get out of a sedan in full wedding dress and you will see the problem. The SUVs sit higher and it shows in the photographs of the arrival, which is exactly the moment people are watching.

Building the procession

Most baraats run three to five vehicles. Two does not read as a procession and six becomes impossible to hold together in Karachi traffic.

A standard five vehicle build:

PositionVehiclePer day
Groom carMercedes C180PKR 25,000
Immediate familyToyota FortunerPKR 15,000
Extended familyHonda BR-VPKR 7,000
Extended familyHonda BR-VPKR 7,000
Guests and dholToyota CoasterPKR 15,000
TotalPKR 69,000

Note the two BR-Vs. They seat seven each, the same as a Fortuner, for less than half the money. Nobody photographs the fourth car in a procession, so that is the place to save. Full rate card in wedding car prices in Karachi.

Three things that go wrong at the gate

Having run more than 50 of these, the failures are predictable and none of them are about the car.

The procession arrives in pieces. Cars from different suppliers, no shared briefing, and the groom car reaches the venue eight minutes before the family. The fix is booking the fleet as one job so the drivers brief together and hold formation.

The groom car is facing the wrong way. For rukhsati the car needs to be positioned and pointing the right direction before the couple comes out, not circling the block waiting for a call. Our drivers stage early.

Nobody checked the entrance. Some Karachi venues have a service gate the cars are meant to use and a main gate for guests. A driver who has not run the venue finds this out while the photographer waits.

Decoration

Fresh flowers in your wedding colours, fitted on the morning of the function rather than the night before, so they still look right under the lights in the evening. We coordinate with your florist or arrange it ourselves.

Decoration is quoted separately from the car because it depends entirely on your palette and your florist. Every wedding car gets a full exterior polish and interior detail regardless.

Book before December fills

The Karachi season is November to January with December as the peak. Order of sell out: Fortuner first, then the Coaster, then the Mercedes C180 and the Land Cruiser.

Six to eight weeks ahead for a December weekend. Four weeks for November or January.

Call 0307 577 7559 with your date and venue. We will tell you what is still free that night and price the whole procession on the call, which is faster than waiting on a form for a booking this specific. We answer 24 hours a day, or WhatsApp the same number if you would rather write.
